Due to the professional cooperation with our customer Primetals (China), our suppliers and the internal CEC departments, the plant assembly and the test run of the first 2 of a total of 3 winches was successfully completed at the Freystadt site on December 15, 2020 , in a construction time of less than 6 months and despite the pandemic.
The first two winches began their journey to Wuhan (China) in Freystadt on December 17, 2020, where they will arrive on schedule on February 14, 2021.
Assembly at the construction site in Wuhan is scheduled for Q1 2021.
These winch systems feature a load capacity of 124 tons and transport metal scrap vertically in a container for charging an electric furnace. The winch systems operate in full automatic mode.
The electronic and mechanical controls, like the winches themselves, were manufactured at the CEC site in Freystadt.
